Poland summons U.S.
ambassador over FBI head's Holocaust remarks
I do not wish to
make enemies however, we must not try changing the past history, we must learn
from history and change the future?
No matter what
friends or a country thinks?
The article by FBI
director James Comey, published in the Washington Post earlier this week,
prompted an outcry in Poland and drew condemnation in the media and from
politicians.
Comey said in the
article:
"In their
minds, the murderers and accomplices of Germany, and Poland, and
Hungary, and so many, many other places didn’t do something evil.
They convinced
themselves it was the right thing to do, the thing they had to do."
This was, is, and
will always be wrong, chastising someone for saying this does not make it turn
right?
A foreign ministry
spokesman said on his Twitter account that the U.S. ambassador would be
summoned to the ministry over the article, and that Poland would demand an
apology.
Poland says the
passage wrongly implied it was complicit in the Nazi genocide of European Jews.
The truth, the whole
truth, nothing but the truth?
The time of Hitler
and the Nazi butchers meant that if you were a Jew in their occupied territory
the Nazi Germany Government under the control of Hitler wanted you dead even
though he was part Jew?
If you were not a
Jew in their occupied territory and allowed them to have their way 24/7 you
might survive.
If you were not a
Jew and tried to hide or save the Jew, you became a Jew in their eyes.
However, if you were
not a Jew, well to do and/or in government under the control of these Nazi
Butchers and did nothing, you were a part of the problem for a victim!
This was wrong no
matter how one looks at it?
