'Hero' Army Captain
saves 3 people from fiery car-crash
Incredible moment
real life Captain America rescued couple who were trapped in the burning wreck
of their car after head-on crash thanks to his Army training
Army Captain Steve
Voglezon was driving to a North Carolina mall on Sunday when he passed the
scene of a fiery crash and jumped into action
He smashed the
windows of one of the cars with a fire extinguisher and pulled out the couple
trapped inside
Voglezon, who was
wearing a Captain America T-shirt at the time, credited his Army training with
helping him know what to do
The couple, William
and Kathleen Thompson, and the other driver, Mark Ricketts, were taken to
hospital with non-life threatening injuries
Ricketts had driven
into their lane and hit their car head-on
Incredible video
taken by a witness and shared with WNCN
shows the vehicles on fire as a police officer attempts to open the
couple's locked crumpled doors.
Voglezon then grabs
a fire extinguisher and uses it to smash the windows of the couple's vehicle
before pulling out Mr Thompson and dragging him to the roadside.
