Trump, who speaks to
Congress tonight, has positioned himself and the GOP as the champion of the
working class.
But it’s possible
that in the end conservatism will change Trump, rather than the other way
round.

Friends Forget?
From the
beginning of the 19th century,
workers enjoyed real jobs
workers enjoyed real jobs
(one good paying job
could support their family),
with real pay and real benefits!
Ever since the
beginning of the 1980's,
workers started to lose these jobs,
a trend still in
decline today!
Today it takes three
jobs
with little or no benefits
to support your family!
Why?
Before the 19th
century,
companies owned the business
and
the workers houses.
A family (father,
mother and children),
worked for the company
with no benefits
and
had to rent
the house
while buying their food
and clothing
from the company!
Today this country
seems to be quickly heading
backwards into the 18th century!
Unions began forming
in the mid-19th century
From the middle of
the 1930s
until the beginning of the 1980's.
Workers owned their
own homes or rented,
the choice was the workers,
buy their food and clothing in
stores
of their choice!

are sending this country
