How did our ancestors like it
while being abused by another country
just because that other country
was bigger and stronger?

How
did our sane ancestors
like it when
half of the country
had slaves?
President
H.W. Bush did go to war with Iraq
only to help a smaller, defenseless, country
(Kuwait).
The
free world was with him.
George
W. Bush did go to the wrong war
(Iraq),
with members of the free world
until we
found out that it was
for selfish reasons.
This
(New Guy)
went to war
just to use up some of his missiles,
to make the country
believe
that he is getting tuff
on President Putin
and
to puff up his little
chest.
Trump
has launched a few dozen
cruise missiles at Syrian airfields
in particular,
at
the airfield that Assad used to launch
the chemical attack earlier this week.
So
far, this is standard stuff for presidents who want to
"Send
a message."
Cruise
missiles cause some damage but don't endanger any American lives.
We'll
see if Trump takes things any further.

is on my TV right now
calling this a great thing.
"It's
not a message,
it's an actual degrading of their capabilities."
If
Obama had done something like this,
Rubio
would have contemptuously called it

pinprick.
