Let's build together America?
Bidders Line up for First US Offshore Wind Auction
Now that we are planning on building a lot of Wind
Generators and building them off shore for the safety of birds and less noise
to neighboring families, let us remember the massive amount of jobs this
country should be thinking about. https://www.google.com/search?q=Factories+that+build+Wind+Generators?&sa=X&rlz=1G1SNNT_ENUS360&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&ei=6V20UajZFobY0QGzt4HwCQ&ved=0CJ8BELAE&biw=1522&bih=797
This government is handing out subsidies for all types
of energy manufacturing, what about some help starting a business, building
factories and schools to train and build all of the equipment that goes
along with installing the generators?
The potential for hundreds of small business and
thousands of jobs for our own country is up to this country?
Our federal government is going to auction leases for
offshore wind generators (good news). The federal government is allowing other
countries to bid on the leases for our electricity, (not so good news)?
WHY?
One of the most important reason for alternative
energy is to get out from under the control of big business.
Looking around this country at business owned by other
countries.
Do you really believe that the price of power will be
coming down because of this leasing to other countries companies?
Overall, the United States is thought to have
around 4,000 gig watts (or four million megawatts) of offshore wind potential.
That’s almost four times the country’s current
electricity production of all types.
So far the government has nine companies looking at
the leasing, at least two, France and Spain, the number one and number two
energy companies in the world are bidders.
Who will be able to compete with them?
You can bet your last dollar that if one of those
other countries win the bid, every piece of material and most of the jobs will
be coming over while doing the construction.
Oh, like with the Keystone pipe line, we might get a
few slave jobs out of all of this? All of these years that I have been pushing
alternative energy it has always been with the intention of this country
starting from scratch.
In other words, building companies to also make the
products, material, training and hiring the people that go with
alternative energy, not to buy it from other countries that will also be
selling our power to us?
List of wind turbine manufacturers
List of schools to train for jobs to make and/or build
alternative energy equipment in this country?
Wake up America before it is too late?
