Well
according to a reason given by Ron Hart, water-resources program manager for
the Lake County Water Authority and you might note that he only gave one
reason?
It's
a combination of multiple causes," Hart said. "But the primary cause
is a lack of rainfall [in recent years] in the Green Swamp and all the lakes
that depend on the Green Swamp are low.
This
is an 'expert' in charge of our water?
The
water is only drastically down in parts of the state that have bottled water,
soda and/or beer use companies.
I
wonder if this is just a coincidence?
The
weather never allows rain in only this area?
When
asked if it was the bottle water companies withdrawal of massive amounts of
water, the answer from a panel of 'experts' from the Lake County Water
Authority and St. Johns River Water Management District in today's Daily
Commercial Newspaper said, "NO"! Even though Niagara bottling
company, only one of many bottling companies, is drawing 484,000 gallons a day
out of the aquifer, Tom Bartol, water supply bureau chief St. Johns River Water
Management District said. "it only amounts to less than half a
percent".
I
ask you, half percent of what.
look
at the photos?
Many of Florida’s lakes have suffered from low water levels
during the past decade, but none more than the Clermont Chain of Lakes in
central Florida.
In fact, while other nearby fisheries have had adequate water
during years of more abundant rain, this 15-lakes system that includes
Minneola, Minnehaha, Susan, and Crescent has continued to dry up.
